Chicago Android workshop 201, 305 (barcodes, file access, media player)
Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (CST)
this class is a great opportunity to see how development for Android is done, my assumption is that attendees will be total beginners.
As you may know there are about 38 different tablets scheduled to come out and about 60 Android phones on the market. This is the biggest revolution you may witness in this decade. In the next couple of years everyone will carry a tablet and a smart phone, that trend will change how we entertain, shop and communicate.
This is beginner workshop to introduce Java/C# developers to Android programming.
We will cover workshop 201 - barcode scanner.
workshop 305 - SC card file access and simple media player with ListView
Installation of IDE is required prerequisite.
